Hike in the Woods

On a Sunday afternoon, several families went on a hike through the autumn woods. This little boy was so cute, almost going to sleep on Natasha's shoulder.

Pennsylvania Puppies and Hairdos

One cockapoo from a litter of four. They are so cuddly!

This golden doodle puppy found a warm place to sleep after getting a bath.

These puppies had to be bottle fed for a while. 

I tried to get a nice picture of these dogs, but they didn't cooperate very well. Here are a couple attempts.

Even if I didn't get very good pictures, I got a lot of laughs from their expressions!

One evening my cousins did our hair in crown braids.

I have enjoyed being with my cousins so much. They are kind and hard working, and they are fun. I am very thankful for their friendship.

I Believe

Sometimes you just have to believe in God-- because if you didn't, you would have nothing.

When your life seems upside down, and your hopes and dreams are crumbling around your feet, and when everything that seemed safe and secure is being torn from under you,

why throw away the one thing that will stay the same?

God is our Rock. When everything else fails, He is still there. 

Below are the words of a song called "I Believe", which I heard a men's choir sing last night. I hope the words bless you as much as they blessed me.

Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,

or touch a leaf,

or see the sky,

Then I know why

Making a green house

My first Saturday back east, the men from the church here set up a green house. Near lunch time, they called us ladies at Uncle Fain's to go help hold down the plastic. We got there just in time to see them getting ready to put the plastic over the frame.

We helped guide the plastic over.  

This is what we were doing most of the time--holding the plastic down so the wind wouldn't blow it away.

Little People of Pennsylvania

The newest of the 49 Morley grandchildren: Benjamin.

My introduction to little Benjamin. I love his faces!

I go nearly every day to help out at Benjamin's house for a few hours. Big brother Brynn loves to help clean the baseboard.

Every child is precious in the sight of God. Helping at my uncle's house has given me a glimpse into the big responsibility it is to care for children. May the Lord give extra grace and wisdom to those who are responsible for their care. I know the Lord will bless those parents who are doing their best to train their children in the fear of the Lord.
